What are the responsibilities and job description for the 23/PHDD - Mobile Phlebotomist position at Randox Laboratories?
With the launch of Randox Health in Ireland, we are currently seeking to recruit a Mobile-Phlebotomists across multiple sites across ROI. The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary team and play an active role in providing an exceptional service to clients in Dundalk.
This role will be responsible for ensuring customer they have an excellent experience while in our mobile clinics, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients, ensuring they feel comfortable at all times. The applicant should also be willing to travel to client sites, either corporate or third parties (e.g., GP surgeries) to take samples. Excellent interpersonal skills will be a necessary requirement.
Candidates should also be willing and able to drive our mobile clinic to other testing locations and events. This may require occasional over-night stays.
For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage.
In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Shift Pattern – Monday to Saturday – 07.00 – 16.00.

The Candidate:
Essential:
- Phlebotomy certificate of competence.
- 1 years’ experience of blood draws.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Committed and flexible.
- Willingness to travel driving license
- Willing to undergo Garda checks
Desirable:
- Valid Driving Licence.
- Commercial experience.
