What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deployment Technician position at Randstad Digital Americas?
- Must have had experience installing desktops - this will be a boots on the ground type of job.
- Must be LOCAL to Tallahassee Florida and need a working car to get to the different sites.
- MUST have a valid drivers license.
- Onboarding is extensive will take 2-3 weeks to get through.
- 2 Background checks to pass, one through us and a local one.
- Must be vaccinated.
Job Description:
We are looking for desktop computer installation support (boots on the ground). This candidate will be handling lots of devices, and equipment and will be driving to multiple locations.
Must-Have Skills & Tools:
- Experience with supporting various devices and configurations including but not limited to:
- Microsoft Windows based desktops, laptops
- Microsoft client/server applications
- Microsoft servers
- User devices
- Experience with installing, testing and troubleshooting devices
- In-depth knowledge and experience working with:
- Microsoft Windows 11 operating system
- Desktop deployments
- End User set up
- Equipment upgrades
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools including setup and configuration
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell is preferred
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Great attention to detail and time-management skills
- Strong customer-service skills
- Motivated to research and understand latest technologies and software
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Nice-To-Haves Skills & Tools:
- Industry certifications preferred.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Degree, Certifications Required & Years of Experience Required:
- BS/BA in a technology related field, OR 2 years of professional work experience in a technology position.
Salary : $20 - $24
