Automation Framework Developer (Typescript/Cypress)

job summary:

Our Client, a Fortune 500 financial services company, is seeking Developers/SDETs who are highly proficient with Typescript, Cypress.io, Automation Testing, and have experience working in an agile environment. In this role, you will be the sole Automation Engineer assigned to 2-3 different Agile squads working to build greenfield applications. In this role, you will be creating automation frameworks from scratch using both Cypress and Typescript to support your assigned squads. This role will predominantly focus on hands-on coding using Typescript.

Responsibilities

• Work within an agile team environment to perform software verification activities. Design, develop, drive, and deliver high-level test strategies, methodologies and take a hands-on approach to see that they are implemented timely and efficiently.
• Establish quality assurance best practices and benchmarks and drive adoption across the QA team.
• Implement metrics, analyze test data and results to identify patterns, report on risk status to development partners and influence software quality
• Work closely with and mentor more junior Quality Assurance engineers, help stablish the organization's QA roadmap, and build a world-class QA engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvements in product testing processes (test plans, automation, testing resources, etc.).
• Document and/or review testing results working closely with developers and product owners to resolve reported issues.
• Execute and maintain the automated test scripts, assuring continuous testing process.
• Show strong expertise in reproducing, analyzing, and finding the root cause for clients' issues.

qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience as a Software Developer or SDET
• 3 years of experience with Typescript
• Must have 1 years of Cypress (w/Typescript)
• 1 years of experience with any other automation tools experience for the
• Experience as a Developer is highly preferred
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with API testing using Postman
• Experience with JIRA

skills:

• SQL (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Cypress (2 years of experience is required)
• Automated QA Testing (5 years of experience is required)
• Postman (3 years of experience is required)
• Typescript (3 years of experience required)
