We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking IoT Network Engineer to join our Emerging Technologies team in Urbandale, Iowa. In this role, you'll drive the evolution and deployment of advanced network infrastructure, working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience in IoT device management, network deployment, and remote system administration.

responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure network and edge-based solutions based on engineering, operational, and stakeholder requirements.
- Evaluate networking and IoT hardware, delivering detailed reports to key stakeholders.
- Ensure network security through cost-effective, strategically aligned solutions.
- Configure and analyze a range of IoT devices, including LAN/WAN switches, firewalls, radios, cellular modems, GPUs, IP cameras, and security systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IoT-related incidents efficiently.
- Select and implement tools for device, network, and system performance monitoring and reporting.
- Maintain test lab equipment and manage test plan execution.
- Provide technical leadership to the product design team, focusing on standardization and automation.
- Collaborate with internal IoT development teams and external service providers on solution design, evaluation, piloting, and operational delivery.

qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IoT technology deployment (Advanced degrees may offset experience requirements).
- Hands-on experience with IoT gateway products, agents, sensors, and devices.
- Expertise in remote device management and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Linux Shell) and programming languages (C , C#, Python).
- Familiarity with AWS IoT or similar frameworks is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IoT technology stacks and device configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network data and security issues.
