R&D Product Manager (Logistics/Frieight)

job summary:

This role will be leading a new innovation, R&D initiative in product development. Through extensive research this team will be responsible for identifying new revenue generation product growth opportunities and making recommendations on areas to invest in. Once an opportunity is identified, the team will be responsible for launching the new product or service.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the

long-term goals, values, and mission of our organization.

- Through extensive market research, build and manage a robust innovation pipeline, and eventually oversee the development of new products, services, or processes through various stages from concept to launch.

- Actively monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to

identify potential opportunities for innovation and disruption.

- Manage members of the innovation team.

Required:

- Experience in conducting market research (market trends, customer segmentation,

competitive landscape, etc.) for product development in the logistics/freight/rail/distribution industry.

opportunities.

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
