Position: Systems Architect for Electronic Security
We are currently looking for a Systems Architect for Electronic Security to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company with a reputation for exceptional service and care.
What you will do:
- Guide project teams to ensure accurate deliverables are achieved and established milestones are met for programming and maintenance of all Electronic Security Systems, including access control, video, badging, work order systems, infant abduction, and visitor management systems. (E 20%)
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other users to maintain, design, test, and implement new ESS programs.
- Monitor security systems for performance issues and coordinate responses as appropriate.
- Coordinate activities with the Help Desk, Network Services, or other Information Systems groups as necessary to resolve service interruptions.
What we require:
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Seven years of experience, or an Associate degree and four years of related experience, may be substituted for required education/experience.
- Experience in large, complex information systems environments with a wide variety of Management Information Systems applications and technologies is desirable.
- Experience with server hardware and in a networked environment is desirable.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain factory certifications from Software House (C*Cure 9000 Enterprise Architect), Milestone Video, Salient Video, Zenitel Stentofon Emergency Communication, and Centrak & Elpas Infant/Pedi Protection Security Systems, along with other system requirements.
- An understanding of security applications (ESS: Access Control, Video Surveillance, Emergency Intercom, Infant/Pedi Protection, Intrusion Detection, etc.) and their operations, as well as the subsequent impact on the environment of care, is preferred.
