A prominent company in the Maidsville, WV area is seeking a Safety and Training Specialist for their plant. The Safety and Training Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Safety and Health program as well as the training plan. This position requires leadership and influence to ensure the effectiveness of the safety program. The incumbent should have extensive knowledge of OSHA standards This is a high-priority hire, salaried in the $110K range, plus bonus!

responsibilities:
- Possess extensive knowledge of occupational health and safety standards while serving as the primary regulatory liaison for relevant agencies
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety and Health Program in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with management to develop training objectives that align with organizational goals.
- Write training programs, including detailed outlines, instructional materials, handouts, and assessment exercises.
- Develops and implements an annual training plan for all departments
