JOB SUMMARY:
This position manages NA PR and focuses on NA press activities for a reputable beauty brand located in New York, NY. This role is temporary starting beginning of February lasting for approximately 6 months. The role will be operating off a hybrid schedule on-site so only local candidates will be considered.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage excellent PR relationships (US and Canada) in traditional and digital media to secure major stories on new and existing products and executives.
- Secure and maintain strong artist relationships with both celebrity and editorial MUAs.
- Manage Internal communications including Intranet posts and executive product drops.
- Maintain and update all NA press lists and editorial calendars, including print and digital.
- Analyze and create comprehensive reports detailing monthly NA press activities and events, as well as local listening trend reports.
- Liaise with TFI on possible collaborations for NA.
- Create and execute all NA press, influencer and artist outreach, including deliveries and events.
- Research and network to identify appropriate strategic alliances/partnerships and alternative publicity channels.
- Research to determine appropriate press gifts and delivery options.
- Research and site visit to determine venue locations for press events and dining.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 6 years experience required.
- Strong NA communications experience a required.
- Good communications skills, solid organizational and follow up skills, visual skills and ability to prioritize a must.
- Must have an understanding of the cosmetic industry, fashion trends, pop culture and new media.
