Job Description
This role provides financial planning and analysis support in the areas of month-end close, monthly estimate, P&L analysis, reporting, annual budget & long-range strategy development, and other ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Manage all month-end close and estimate processes.
- Key financial contact for Marketing, Commercial and creative teams, partnering to manage A&P spend within budget, understand timing of key activations and rephase / repurpose spend as needed.
- Provide P&L reporting and variance analysis vs estimate and plan, highlighting and tackling potential risks and opportunities. Collaborating with teams to identify solutions and mitigation plans.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reports, including monthly performance reviews, risk and opportunities, variance analysis, retail sale reporting, quarterly Investor Relations and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Support the annual budget & long-range planning process, providing analytical support & deep dives as needed. Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules and presentations.
- Support Product Development in the tracking and reporting of NPL product claims spend vs budget & estimate.
- Provide support and direction on the purchasing process, working closely with the lead purchasers to ensure compliance.
- Provide support in all aspects relating to the financial planning and reporting for the Global & NA Region, including New Product Launch ROI, Mix of Business reporting, Gross Margin expansion & ad hoc reporting and modeling.
