Technical Recruiter (Contract) - Remote
Randstad Sourceright is seeking a highly motivated and capable Contract Technical Recruiter to join our client Cisco’s technical recruiting team. As an experienced talent advisor, you will craft the hiring strategy behind attracting, assessing and hiring top experienced technical talent across multiple teams.
This role is for someone who thrives in a face-paced, growth-focused environment. You can effectively partner with our hiring managers to understand hiring needs, craft strategic interview processes and find/close high quality technical talent with little direction. You will have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and drive towards building diverse and high-performing teams.
What you will do:
- Develop and drive an engaging candidate experience across product management, software and hardware engineering.
- Partner with our leaders to fully understand the business and set recruiting priorities.
- Build recruiting processes from scratch including structuring roles with hiring manager and team, serving as an advisor in crafting assessment processes, and leveraging market data and expertise to optimize recruiting strategy.
- Full life cycle recruiting efforts for experienced hires. This includes job description alignment and posting positions, setting interview strategies, sourcing and screening/pre-qualifying candidates, collaborating with coordinators for scheduling, maintaining strong communication with candidates throughout the process, crafting offers and preparing offer letters, initiating immigration processing, relocation and pre-boarding.
- Track all recruiting activity using Cisco’s ATS, holding an eye for compliance and data driven recruiting practices.
- Use data to drive decisions and frequently report recruiting success and improvement opportunities to management.
- Serve as a knowledgeable, personable ambassador of the company, building and maintaining a strong network through social media, industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and current employees.
What we’re looking for:
- 5 years of full-cycle in-house recruiting experience with a focus on technical roles. Strong preference for experience filling Product Management and Software Engineer roles.
- Ability to source and manage a high-quality pipeline of candidates as well as coach and mentor others to be able to do the same.
- Experience building and improving recruiting processes using industry best practices for technical roles in particular.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to interact with all team members and candidates with professionalism and tact; articulates ideas clearly and succinctly and deploys influence when necessary.
- Strong prioritization and organization skills, with an appreciation for process and compliance.
- Proven competence with different tools and applicant tracking systems, such as LinkedIn, Phenom, Microsoft Suite, Workday, Avature, Greenhouse, and AI tools.
