Job Summary
">The Randstad Global Capability Center is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and setting up CMMs, developing and writing software programs to automate CMMs, and maintaining accurate records of programs, processes, and results.
">About the Role
">As a Senior Quality Technician, you will:
">- Program and set up CMMs to ensure accurate and efficient inspection of manufactured components
- Develop and write software programs to automate CMMs for quality control purposes
- Maintain accurate records of programs, processes, and results
- Test and debug CMM programs to ensure compliance with quality and productivity standards
- Measure, record, and report on quality characteristics of manufactured components
Responsibilities
">In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
">- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Complete all paperwork correctly, legibly, and honestly
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes and projects
- Record data and report problems as they arise
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- 5 years of experience as a Quality Technician
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic computer and math skills
- Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and AS 9100 standards
- Experience with PPAP, control plans, and PFMEA preferred
