Shift : MON-FRI 8AM-4 : 30PM
DURATION : 3 MONTH CONTRACT FOR SOMEONE THAT'S ON LEAVE. POSSIBLE EXTENSION BUT NOT TEMP-PERM ROLE.
CANDIDATE MUST BE ITAR COMPLIANT AND HAVE PROPER ITAR DOCUMENTATION FOR INTERVIEWS.
DURING INTERVIEW PROCESS, THERE WILL BE A PRINT READING ASSESSMENT TO DETERMINE YOUR ABILITY TO INTERPRET PRINTS.

Description :
The Quality Inspector performs a variety of quality audits on products in production for assigned process areas. The candidate will use gages, microscopes and / or vision system and refers to blueprints to perform audit function. Results of final inspections are documented on required forms.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities :
Perform inspections on vendor supplied material
Use standard inspection equipment including vision systems, calipers, micrometers, go / no go gages, pin gages, ectc
Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day
Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
Ability to send and receive data instructions via E-mail using the above applications
Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management
Use ERP system (SAP) in order to accept or reject material based on inspection results
Qualifications :
Ability to read blueprints
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Prior inspection experience preferred
Knowledge of FAI’s preferred
Prior Quality inspection experience of 2 year preferred.
