**Job Description:**
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine specialist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Arkansas. The medical center is looking for a physician to cover 6-8 shifts per month for a minimum of 3-4 months.
The Emergency Department sees approximately 19,000 patients annually and has 7 beds. It does not have a trauma designation.
As an Emergency Medicine physician in this role, you can expect to see 20-25 patients per 12-hour day and night shifts. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced ED environment while enjoying the benefits of a locum tenens assignment.
**Requirements:**
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
