Responsibilities
We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex laboratory testing in a high-complexity clinical setting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze specimens, review results, and ensure compliance with quality and safety protocols.

- Perform specimen handling, processing, and analysis following established laboratory procedures
- Review and release accurate test results while maintaining detailed records
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety protocols
- Maintain quality control (QC), instrument calibration, and procedural documentation
- Identify and resolve test system issues, documenting corrective actions as needed
- Report STAT or critical results promptly and accurately to clients
- Maintain proper documentation of all testing procedures
- Participate in training, procedural updates, and safety training sessions
- Assist in regulatory inspections and compliance audits as needed
Education & Certification:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology
- Candidates qualified under 42 CFR 493.1433 (March 14, 1990) are also eligible
- Required: 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred
- Preferred: Experience in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) in a lab setting
- Required: Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple testing procedures simultaneously
- Required: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze test results accurately
- Required: Effective communication and customer service skills for client interactions
- Required: Commitment to patient confidentiality and data security
