Responsibilities
In this role you will be working with your team to secure placenta donations. You will process the donated placenta (aseptic tissue) back at our client's lab, as well as receive world-class training and have the opportunity to grow into a more patient-facing role.
Placenta donation provides tissue-based products for wound coverings, post-surgery reduction of scarring, diabetic ulcers, sports medicine, ophthalmology, spine, and dental procedures.
Qualifications
Numerous types of backgrounds can be successful in this role. Some examples include a nursing background (CNA, LPN), Science graduates, tissue banking experience, or experience in a CLIA lab. What you must bring is a friendly and confident bedside manner along with a highly-motivated personality.
Required
Working knowledge of medical terminology and good documentation practices.
A willingness to perform aseptic tissue acquisition procedures.
