Job Summary :

Randstad is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CPA to join a CPA firm in Salem, Virginia, as a Tax Director. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the preparation and review of all individual and corporate tax returns for the firm while supervising and mentoring a small team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and collaborative environment. The opportunity is direct-hire and paying $125K - $140K to start.

Salary : $100,000 - 140,000 per year

Work Hours : 9 to 5

Experience : 8 Years

Responsibilities :

• Tax Preparation & Review : Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Research and resolve tax-related issues, including identifying potential tax savings opportunities for clients.
• Supervise a small team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Assign and manage workflow, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of tax engagements.
