What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts payable clerk position at Randstad?

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be resposible for charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice / expense reports; recording entries Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities and preparing checks. Ideal candidates must have experience processing high volume of transactions and able to work in a fast paced environment. This is a long term 18 month assignment. You MUST be able to work ONSITE. Qualifications :

Must have at least 2 years of related high volume expense processing experience
Must have experience with large ERP systems like Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP, etc
Must thrive in a fast paced environment
Must have excellent attention to detail
High school or GED equivalent a required; Associates a plus
Flexible work schedule between 7 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday

salary : $19 - $20.87 per hour

shift : First

work hours : 7 AM - 5 PM

education : High School

Responsibilities

Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice / expense reports; recording entries

Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks

Resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation;

Insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments

Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks

Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential and continuously improve the payment process

Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Process customer credits
