An engineering firm in the Atlanta area is looking for a Structural / Civil Designer. Candidates should have at least five years of structural / civil concrete system design experience in a heavy industrial environment. Must be proficient with the latest version of AutoCAD & Revit Software. Hybrid work schedule. Relocation, salary, bonus and benefits.

responsibilities :
Collaborate with project civil / structural engineers throughout the design process
Review civil / structural concrete drawings for errors and omissions
Review project contract documents throughout the project to ensure compliance
Review vendor drawings for errors and omissions and to ensure contract compliance
Assist in preparing the drawing list, estimating man-hours, etc., at the kick-off of each project
Attend weekly project meetings to review design and project progress
Establish the project working agenda for each week
Coordinate with mechanical and electrical engineers and designers on project design
Review and update CAD Standards as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Participate in company-wide CAD Meetings
Travel to the field as needed throughout the duration of the project (approximately 5-10% travel)
