Randstad is seeking skilled CNC lathe machine operators to join our manufacturing facility in Beltsville, MD. As a CNC machine operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process by operating machinery to produce mechanical parts according to specifications. Key responsibilities include setting up machines, adjusting settings to change diameters of final products, drilling holes, measuring pieces for accuracy, and ensuring that final products meet quality standards. Attention to detail and proficiency in reading measurements are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Load pieces into CNC machines and ensure proper setup.
- Follow instructions to adjust machine settings to change diameters of final products.
- Utilize machinery to drill holes and create divots in mechanical parts.
- Measure pieces using measurement devices and ensure they match specifications.
- Utilize tools to make changes to the outside or inside diameters of final products as needed.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC machine operator or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading measurements and using measurement devices accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow instructions precisely.
- Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus but not required.
