HR Specialist - EHS Focus
We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to focus on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring workplace compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Policy Development: Develop, plan, and implement safety policies and procedures compliant with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Environmental Standard Programs: Manage ISO 14001 Environmental Standard Programs, policies, and documentation.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety and environmental training material and training for all employees, including managers.
- Accident Investigations: Lead accident investigations, ensuring timely completion of documentation.
- Worker Compensation Claims: Manage worker compensation claims.
- Facilities Safety: Maintain facilities safety and environmental signage.
- 5S Program: Participate in the company's 5S program.
- Risk Communication: Warn of potential and actual safety hazards, and prevent access to hazardous conditions.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year of experience in EHS or a related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
