Key Responsibilities:
- CNC Programming: Develop and modify CNC programs for surface grinders, adjusting programs to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Machine Setup: Set up CNC surface grinders, install tooling and fixtures, and ensure machine alignment to meet production requirements.
- Machine Operation: Operate CNC surface grinders to produce precision parts, adjusting machine settings for quality and efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or programming issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
