Heavy equipment shop clerk

A company in Porterville, CA, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Clerk to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for scanning invoices and matching incoming paperwork with purchase orders (POs). Responsibilities

Enter PO into the computer system as orders are placed.

• Scan invoice and received paperwork to match up with PO.
• Create, update and work orders assigned to various mechanics.
• Assist mechanics and technicians in identifying and ordering necessary parts
• Follow-up on part orders and place new orders as necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory of stocked parts and supplies and restock when necessary.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of parts and supplies.
• Assist in upkeep of housekeeping in shop and storage areas.
• Conscience of profit and loss responsibility for the facility, quality control, maintenance process

development and conformance, and all administrative functions.
