Randstad is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our client, a reputable manufacturing company in Riverhead, NY! This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical work who are ready to take their career to the next level. Qualifications : Proven experience in facility maintenance, with expertise in carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical work. Prior supervisory experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in facility maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of building infrastructure, including carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical work.
- Plan, schedule, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding facility and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service history, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Lead and train the maintenance team, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the operations and production teams to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of manufacturing equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues before they affect operations.
