Responsibilities
- Establish, implement and supervise programs to document the proper handling of requisitions, orders, receipt and storage of stock.
- Develops and implements inventory management initiatives to increase inventory turns and reduce on-hand inventory.
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and communicate with Customer Service, Quality and Engineering regarding stocking, ordering and deliveries.
- Oversees the daily operation of the purchasing, expediting and supervises warehouse supervisor.
- Approves inventory adjustments, classifications, inventory levels, reorder point methods, order quantity formulas and other techniques.
- Evaluate and respond promptly to customer expedite requests and cancellations.
- Perform analysis on performance and quality metrics and execute plans to improve.
