About the Job
">This is a second shift role that requires someone who can improve processes and has a background in automation, robotics, and CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming Horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines / CNC lathes and working with quality engineers to find and fix root causes in case of customer complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Set up processes to ensure production, delivery, and quality meet all specifications
- Develop machining processes, designs fixtures, and machining tools in cooperation with headquarters
- Responsible for achievement of company goals with regards to quality and productivity
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information, and trends
- Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards
- Set up production equipment and machining cells to meet customer timing and quality together with setup technicians
- Train setup technicians on existing and new production systems/processes
- Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians
- Set up daily inspection and adjustments on fixtures and tools
- Prepare maintenance schedules for equipment as per the manufacturer's recommendation
- Oversee Overall Equipment Effectiveness, housekeeping, scrap, and overtime through proper maintenance of equipment and the building
- Coordinate installation of production equipment and production cells to meet customer timing and quality
- Improve cycle times and reduce scrap rates
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Associates
Skills:
- Engineering (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Siemens PLC (1 year of experience is required)
- Robotics (1 year of experience is required)
- CNC

- Process Control
