Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design and Production Engineer to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee the preparation of production packages, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and bring innovative ideas to improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of design calculations and engineering detail drawings using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Accurate entry of new part numbers and shop operations.
- Preparation and/or revision of general assembly and production drawings, bills of material, and technical manuals.
- Costing and preliminary design layouts for field sales.
- Maintaining drawing libraries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2 years of experience in mechanical design and production engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, good drafting ability, and knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
