A great client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for building and leading the project management function, driving the creation and standardization of processes across teams, and collaborating closely with counterparts at other group sites. The role offers the opportunity to create and implement solutions that optimize project execution, reduce lead times, lower costs, and enhance the customer experience across multiple concurrent projects. Ideal candidates will have experience in an industry related to machinery or capital equipment design / build and hold a PMP certification.

responsibilities :
- Project Management : Lead and manage multiple projects from award through all phases of development, ensuring a seamless, defect-free handover to the customer.
- Resource Coordination : Plan and coordinate the effective use of technical and assembly resources across various projects to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards for all active projects.
- Risk Management : Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project execution and minimize potential disruptions.
- Problem Resolution : Analyze root causes of project issues, implement corrective actions, and drive solutions to ensure efficient problem closure across multiple projects.
- Stakeholder Communication : Provide clear, timely, and accurate status reports to both external clients and internal teams to maintain transparency and alignment across all projects.
- Innovation & Process Development : responsible for creating and implementing solutions and processes that optimize project execution, reduce lead times, lower costs, and improve customer experience across multiple concurrent projects.
