Your Responsibilities :
Obtain and maintain necessary state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits.
Analyze, negotiate, and settle claims of minimal complexity.
Utilize independent judgment in claim handling.
Engage with customers to confirm cause, coverage, liability, and damages.
Respond empathetically to customer inquiries, aligning their needs with our services.
Identify and work on potentially suspicious claims, collaborating with the Special Investigations Unit when necessary.
Participate in training programs to enhance your skills.
Qualifications :
Associate's degree or progress toward an associate's degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in service, financial, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
For Workers Comp and Personal Injury Protection : Knowledge of medical services is a plus.
For Commercial General Liability : Familiarity with medical terminology and / or construction is beneficial.
Demonstrate initiative and a positive, professional attitude.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
High emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements :
Proficiency in using a computer and standard office equipment.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work in a dynamic and diverse environment.
