job summary :
Our client is looking to add a Quality Engineer to their growing team. This is a 6-12 month contract assignment located in Pleasant Prairie WI. This person will be responsible for providing quality support and leadership for all new and existing products and processes within the plant. This role ensures compliance with customer standards, collaborates across departments to resolve quality issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer will lead product-specific quality system development, support production and engineering teams, and act as a key liaison for customer concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical area such as Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, Materials / Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.
- May consider eight (8) years of directly relevant Quality / Manufacturing experience in lieu of Bachelor Degree.
- At least five (5) years experience in a Quality role performing responsibilities that are same as or similar to those listed in the Job Summary.
- Must have knowledge of PPAP, 8D methodology, supplier quality, quality tools, and customer web-based systems.
- Must have prior hands-on experience with testing equipment including but not limited to : depth gage, calipers, micrometer, tape measure, product gauges, and CMM preferred.
