Randstad is partnering with a client in Sikeston, MO, to hire Line Maintenance Mechanics – Automation to support production operations. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Must have Automation or Robotics experience
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial production equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and inspections.
- Support production teams by responding to maintenance calls and performing routine system checks.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of maintenance activities.
- Participate in HAZWOPER certification and ammonia release response teams.
- Collaborate with continuous improvement teams to enhance efficiency and safety.
Working Conditions
- Work in varied temperatures (-60°F to 120°F).
- Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing ladders, and working on platforms.
- Exposure to moving machinery, chemicals, and noise.
- Required PPE: Hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety-toed footwear.
Qualifications & SkillsRequired:
✔ High School diploma or GED equivalent.
✔ Strong mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment maintenance experience.
✔ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
✔ Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
✔ Ability to pass OSHA-required cardiopulmonary physical for respirator use.
Preferred:
✔ 2 to 4-year degree in Industrial Technology or a related field.
✔ Experience with OHMS, AC/DC electrical systems, and vision/photo-eye sensors.
✔ Expertise in industrial ammonia refrigeration or general refrigeration systems.

Pay: $33.00 - $34.00 per hour
