Job Summary
A highly skilled Technical Design Consultant Engineer is required to support the ELSP (Smart Power) business by leveraging CAD skills, coordinating engineering activities, ensuring compliance, and managing documentation. This role will focus on product development and design in a team-oriented environment.
About the Role
- Design, develop, and implement engineering programs that meet business standards and program/product requirements.
- Use solid modeling software (PTC Creo/Windchill) to create models, assemblies, detailed drawings, and BOMs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all design work.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical data consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, instruction manuals, project notebooks, and design and test documentation.
- Discuss, coordinate, and analyze concepts and cost-effectiveness of Mechanical/Electrical designs.
- Coordinate engineering activities with the R&D team.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of design engineering experience, including product development of industrial and/or electrical distribution products.
Salary Range
The estimated salary for this position is $50-$60 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
