Responsibilities
Customer Interaction: Greet customers in a friendly manner, assist them in finding the required auto parts, and answer any queries they may have.
Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of parts, ensuring that the stock is replenished and accurately documented.
Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, handle transactions, and ensure timely delivery of parts to the service department or directly to customers.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest automotive parts and products to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
Supplier Coordination: Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure the timely receipt of parts and resolve any supply issues promptly.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service department and other team members to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operation of the parts department.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of parts orders, sales, and deliveries to ensure efficient inventory management and customer service.
Requirements
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a parts counter or automotive service environment is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems and parts is essential.
Customer Service: Demonstrated excellence in customer service and relationship-building skills.
Detail-Oriented: Focus on accuracy and attention to detail when handling inventory and orders.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods.
