Job Description
The Engineering Technician is responsible for startup of new products and maintaining the production of existing products. In this role, nesting software will be used to create laser programs to cut parts. Materials will be planned and ordered according to nests that are created. Press brake operations will be planned with tooling and sequence software.
Plant Location: Milner, GA
Salary: $24 - $25 /hour

Engineering Technician Responsibilities:
Receiving travelers and group parts by like material.
Nest parts to best utilize material.
Monitor inventory and place orders when necessary.
Create bending programs.
Update routes on travelers as needed.
Support the Operations team working in a safe and customer-focused manner. Must be self-motivated and customer focused.
Engineering Technician Qualifications:
Computer skills plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).
2D/3D CAD experience.
Manufacturing Experience (Laser, Press Brake, Welding, CNC Mill/Lathe).
Understanding of material types.
Reading drawings in Metric and Standard.
Understanding GD&T drawings.
ERP Experience.
