Job Opportunity: Critical Care Registered Nurse
Rang Healthcare, a leading staffing firm, is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a travel nursing position in a reputable healthcare institution.
Job Summary:
This 13-week assignment requires the nurse to work night shifts, 12 hours at a time, for 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday off. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in an ICU setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex medical conditions, often in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams.
- Collaboration and Communication: Develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize patient outcomes and promote optimal recovery. Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, families, and patients to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care.
- Clinical Expertise: Deliver high-quality patient care in an ICU setting, utilizing advanced knowledge of critical care principles, medications, and treatments.
Requirements:
- Licensure and Certification: Current RN licensure in good standing and certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Neurological Intervention and Monitoring Skills (NIHSS).
- Experience and Skills: 2 or 3 years of experience in Critical Care Nursing, with knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based standards. Ability to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed.
