Job Summary
This Registered Nurse II/III position is for a local contract nurse RN Behavioral Health to work in Medical Lake, Washington.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and educate nursing staff to foster a caring environment that respects patients' dignity
- Lead and manage nursing care on the ward and shift, including administering medications and treatments
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain high-quality nursing care for people being treated for behavioral health conditions
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care provided
- Respond in a lead role in case of a health emergency and intervene to de-escalate patients' behavior
Requirements
- Valid Washington State RN license or ability to obtain one by the start of employment
- Two years of professional nursing experience
