Oncology Nursing Opportunity
Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Oncology for a 12-hour day shift position in Moab, Utah.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate registered nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy infusion sessions. The ideal candidate will have excellent assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status before, during, and after chemotherapy infusion sessions.
- Safely administer simple to complex infusion therapy for chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Utah or compact state RN license.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments.
