This 13-week travel nursing job requires a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Med Surg nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
You will be responsible for evaluating medical information, providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients, preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications, changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Additionally, you will adjust specialized medical equipment as needed and interpret and record measurements.
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and maintain accurate records of patient data.
