You'll work closely with patients, medical professionals, and radiology staff to deliver the best possible outcomes.Essential Skills Required : Knowledge of radiographic examinations and contrast agentsRadiographic equipment operation & radiation safety expertiseStrong patient positioning & transfer techniquesExcellent communication (oral / written) in all settingsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesHigh standards of ethical and professional conductPhysical Requirements : Ability to be mobile & manage patient transfersLifting 50 lbs without assistance, bending, stoopingMust wear protective lead gear during examsVisual & hearing acuity for performing exams, reading monitors, and hearing alarmsAbility to work in bright / low-light exam roomsResponsibilities Include : Reviewing requisitions and confirming patient dataPerforming and reviewing exams for technical accuracyEnsuring safety and comfort during patient proceduresManaging workflow in the absence of the radiology managerMonitoring and reporting any safety hazardsMaintaining patient confidentiality and all hospital-related informationTraining new employees and healthcare professionals
