Core Java PL/SQL Developer

Job Title: Core Java PL/SQL Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ (1 Pershing Plaza, Jersey City, NJ) Hybrid Role

Contract Duration : 6-8 Months

Code: Java 11/17 (Spring, Maven), Oracle PL/SQL
Architecture: Microservice based
Should be good coder and hands on only.

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following:

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
10 years of experience in software development required
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Ability to work in a team environment sharing knowledge, opinion, responsibility, accolades, and failures as one with the team
Experience in web application software development required.
Proficiency in Java, C# or similar language required.
Proficiency in both the development and consumption of Web Services and RESTful APIs required.
Proficiency in Relational Database design and development of DDL and DML PL SQL scripting required.
Experience in SDLC, DevOps processes CI/CD tools, Git, etc required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to document/track work required.
Strong analytical skills, ability to maintain focus for extended periods and consistent attention to detail required.
An understanding of monitoring/logging tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Moogsoft preferred.
Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Principals preferred.
Expertise in Spring framework, Angular, and Software System Architecture knowledge preferred.
