Role: SAP MII Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement SAP MII-based solutions to integrate manufacturing systems with enterprise SAP systems.
Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and IT teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
Develop and maintain custom SAP MII applications, including visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
Develop and maintain UI5 applications.
Integrate SAP MII with other SAP modules (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO) and third-party manufacturing systems.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of applications to ensure efficient performance and reliability.
Provide technical support for deployment, maintenance, and improvement of SAP MII applications.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and provide timely resolutions.
Document solutions, processes, and configurations for internal knowledge sharing.
Work on continuous improvements and optimizations of existing applications, tools, and processes.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP MII development.
Experience with SAP MII, SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution), and SAP HANA is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with SAP MII 15.x or higher versions.
Hands-on experience with UI5 framework to build web applications.
Experience in integrating SAP MII with MES, SCADA, PLCs, and other manufacturing software.
Strong knowledge of Java, XML, JavaScript, and web technologies.
Familiarity with SAP PI/PO, SAP ABAP, or other integration technologies is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how they can be optimized with SAP MII.
Proficient in SAP MII s visual components, including workbooks, dashboards, and reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in SAP S/4HANA integration.
Knowledge of other SAP modules such as SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP QM (Quality Management), or SAP WM (Warehouse Management).
Experience with advanced data analytics and reporting tools.
