What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Research Associate (GMP/ ELISA/ PCR) - Frederick, MD position at Rangam?
Location: Frederick, MD (Onsite)
Shift: Wed-Sat, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Shift flexibility preferred)
Contract duration: 6 Months, extension possible based on needs and performance
Pay rate: $24-$28.50 (compensation based on experience and qualifications)
Training Requirement:
First 7 weeks: Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM for New Hire Orientation & Technical Training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing (Cell-based bioassays, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, qPCR).
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with GMP regulations.
- Review test data, support product release, and assist with investigations.
- Author/revise SOPs and participate in troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Provide updates in meetings and monitor quality systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR
- AA Degree 2 years in biotech/QC OR
- High School Diploma 3 years in biotech/QC
Preferred Skills:
- Strong GMP, SOP, and quality control knowledge.
- Experience with OOS investigations and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, PCR, and bioassays.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Industry experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals preferred.
