This position is located on Roi-Namur on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for supporting property management and supply management activities as directed and needed by the Property & Supply Lead - Roi.
- Performs any combination of the following tasks : receive, store, account for (inventory), and distribute equipment and material (stock).
- Sorts and places materials on assigned racks, shelves, or in bin locations according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Drives vehicles / forklifts to transport stored items from warehouse to job site or to pick up items from several locations for shipment and processing.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and transfers orders to packing delivery department.
- Accurately records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
- Opens packages to include but not limited to; drums, crates, and other containers, using hand tools.
- Mark materials and assets with identifying information, using stencils, or other marking device.
- Organize work efficiently.
- Must be able to perform project inventory functions / requirements.
- Maintain security for the safe storage of equipment and materials.
- Adhere to safe work practices and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
