As a player-coach, this individual will be responsible for designing and executing talent acquisition strategies while mentoring and developing a high-performing talent team. Working closely with our founders, they’ll play a critical role in scaling our organization by attracting and hiring top-tier talent, fostering a culture of excellence, and establishing processes to support our long-term growth.
This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA or in New York City. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday-Friday. If you are not currently located in one of these areas, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.

What You’ll Do With Us
- Act as a player-coach by directly recruiting for key roles while mentoring and developing a high-performing talent team.
- Create and implement scalable processes for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top-tier talent across diverse functions.
- Partner with founders and leadership to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and align talent acquisition strategies with business goals.
- Analyze recruiting metrics to continuously optimize the talent acquisition process and ensure an excellent candidate experience.
- Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract high-caliber candidates.
- 7 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
- Proven success in scaling recruitment efforts for growing companies.
- Expertise in sourcing and recruiting top-tier talent.
- Strong understanding of recruiting tools and technology.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in a venture startup environment preferred.
