This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA or one of our hubs in New York City, Seattle, or Austin. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday-Friday. If you are not currently located in one of these areas, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.
What you'll do with us :
Owning end-to-end design process-problem discovery, scoping, map user flows wireframe concepts, and pixel perfect handoffs to product / engYou will partner with your pod (product manager / engineers) to scope project work, define design process, and timeline.We work in Figma, you're proficient in Figma or able to learn it rapidlyBuild & testing prototypesManaging and overseeing structured design files and work spacesContribute to the design system
Your expertise :
Can frame strong rationales for design decisions and persuade peers and executivesDesign decisions calibrated by research and dataStrong collaborator with product managers, engineering teams, and fellow designersCommunicates concisely with both pixel and words
Systems thinker : Able to see the big picture, understanding how various elements of a system are interconnected and influence each otherDemonstrates deep understanding and alignment of business goals, competitive landscape, and user needsProven ability to both work within and enhance design systemsDemonstrate current knowledge of product design trends and best practicesTrack record of leading projects that have shipped across web and mobileMinimum 5 years experience in product designWhat will set you apart :
