What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Op PACU RN position at Rangely District Hospital?
Rangely District Hospital has an opening in Nursing for a pre-op PACU RN. This is a PRN position, working 0-19 hours per week.
Job Statement:
Assesses patients, plans care, serves as patient advocate, and assures optimal outcomes. Provide perioperative patient care, documentation of patient information, medication administration, patient assessment, and clinical expertise.
Skills:
● Proficient in IV starts
● Strong assessment skills necessary
● Patient teaching
● Ability to communicate effectively and work well as a member of a dynamic team
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (or its equivalent) from an accredited Registered Nurse Program
Experience:
two (2) years of Pre-Op/PACU care experience or equivalent preferred
License/Registration/Certifications:
Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
Current BLS and ACLS
ACLS within 90 days
Additional Information:
Position Type: PRN (As Needed)
Shift: Day
Hourly Wage Range: $29.00-$40.00
Benefits: Sick pay up to 48 hours and Rec Center Pass
