GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Machine Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of the machining program within Ranger College. This role will ensure the smooth operation and effective utilization of machines, equipment, and technology used for educational purposes. The coordinator will collaborate with other faculty, staff, and students to ensure that the machining program meets the needs of the school and supports the educational objectives of Ranger College. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage the overall machine program, including policies, guidelines, and procedures.
2. Coordinate the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of machines, equipment, and technology.
3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines related to machines and equipment.
4. Provide instruction to students on the proper use of machines and equipment.
5. Develop instructional materials and resources to facilitate effective machine usage.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the program.
7. Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and IT departments to address technical issues, repairs, and upgrades.
9. Communicate program updates, changes, and best practices to the school community.
10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the machine program, identifying areas for improvement.
11. Collect and analyze data on machine usage, maintenance, and user feedback to inform decision-making.
12. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements, modifications, and upgrades to the program.

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in education, Computer Science, or a related field or certifications in related fields
Proven experience in managing educational technology programs or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of machines, equipment, and technology used in educational settings.
Familiarity with instructional design principles and curriculum integration.
Prior use or knowledge of MasterCam.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide training and support to users with varying technical abilities.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
