Job Title: Project Engineer
Position Overview: The Project Engineer bridges the gap between engineering and project management, overseeing technical teams that contribute to the construction of our structures and job sites. This role supports both engineering and construction project managers with technical disciplines and is instrumental in the execution of engineering projects. The Project Engineer is also responsible for implementing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including purchasing and inventory control, as well as providing guidance to operational support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Prepare schedules, pre-plan tasks, and forecast resources for engineering and technical activities.
- Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, in collaboration with management.
- Identify project phases and elements, and review contractor bids to determine responsibilities.
- Technical & Cost Management:
- Study product design, customer requirements, and company standards to determine project specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates and schedule timelines, ensuring all project elements are sequenced efficiently.
- Coordinate technical developments, resolve engineering issues, and integrate technical activities.
- Project Monitoring & Reporting:
- Maintain project schedules and manage costs by reviewing design changes, specifications, and timelines.
- Prepare project status reports by analyzing data and trends, making recommendations for action.
- Maintain the project database and contribute to team success through related tasks as needed.
- Additional Duties:
- Manage projects and other duties as assigned, ensuring completion with high attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical background with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and solve problems under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with BlueBeam is a plus.

Required to wear all site-required PPE consisting of long pants, long sleeve shirt, leather safety boots, and safety glasses.
