Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong project coordination skills and a foundational understanding of construction processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Project Planning & Coordination:
o Prepare schedules, pre-plan tasks, and forecast resources for engineering and technical activities.
o Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, in collaboration with management.
o Identify project phases and elements, and review contractor bids to determine responsibilities.
· Technical & Cost Management:
o Study product design, customer requirements, and company standards to determine project specifications.
o Prepare cost estimates and schedule timelines, ensuring all project elements are sequenced efficiently.
o Coordinate technical developments, resolve engineering issues, and integrate technical activities.
· Project Monitoring & Reporting:
o Maintain project schedules and manage costs by reviewing design changes, specifications, and timelines.
o Prepare project status reports by analyzing data and trends, making recommendations for action.
o Maintain the project database and contribute to team success through related tasks as needed.
· Additional Duties:
o Manage project and other duties assigned, ensuring completion with high attention to detail.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in civil and/or mechanical engineering or related field.
· Strong analytical skills: very detail oriented and organized.
· Strong technical background with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
· Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and solve problems under pressure.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Blue Beam is a plus.

The employee must be able to maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities occurring at the site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
