In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting overall accounts receivable operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, Billing, Collections, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software a plus.
- Accustomed to T&M (Time & Material) and Contract billing.
- Accustomed to handling Purchase Orders with various customers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Professional etiquette via phone and email with customers).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and post customer payments.
- Prepare, verify, and issue invoices, account statements, and other financial documents.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up with customers on outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies or billing issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
