Position Summary:
Our partner, one of the world’s foremost technology giants is seeking a Marketing Director to oversee marketing execution for the Latin America and Caribbean markets. Although titled “Director,” this role is very hands-on. You’ll translate and implement corporate marketing initiatives for mobile devices, tablets, and related products, working closely with a smaller, regionally focused team. While occasional communication with corporate HQ, your primary collaboration will be with internal stakeholders spread across the LATAM and Caribbean regions. By effectively coordinating teams, budgets, and timelines, you will ensure that all traditional and digital campaigns align with business objectives and resonate with local audiences helping maintain market leadership and brand excellence in these territories.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 years of hands-on experience in managing and executing marketing projects or campaigns.
- Proven track record leading teams or a marketing department delivering impactful campaigns while mentoring and guiding staff.
- Familiarity with both traditional media (TV, billboards, print) and digital channels (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Comfortable working with performance metrics and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Experience with regional marketing (Latin America and the Caribbean) strongly preferred.
- Exposure to mobile device or consumer electronics marketing is a plus.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Translate and implement the annual marketing strategy provided by corporate HQ, adapting campaigns to meet LATAM/Caribbean consumer preferences.
- Coordinate with smaller local teams to ensure alignment on messaging, objectives, and branding.
- Oversee both digital (social media, online advertising) and traditional (TV, billboards, print) media efforts, ensuring consistency with company guidelines and timely rollout.
- Remain hands-on: develop project timelines, lead creative briefings, and guide daily execution tasks.
- Own the marketing budget for the LATAM and Caribbean region.
- Efficiently allocate resources, collaborating with internal finance teams to track spending and ROI.
- Serve as the key liaison between marketing, sales, product, and finance teams, ensuring campaigns support core business goals.
- Align project deliverables and schedules with internal departments and external agencies, maintaining smooth coordination.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance across various channels (digital, broadcast, out-of-home).
- Use data to inform adjustments in real-time, optimizing campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Adapt global strategies for the Latin American and Caribbean audiences, factoring in cultural nuances, seasonal events, and regional regulations.
- Provide feedback to corporate teams on regional opportunities, consumer insights, and competitor activities.
- Plan and manage product launches, trade shows, and other corporate events in LATAM/Caribbean markets, ensuring seamless execution.
- Coordinate local vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistical details.
- Mentor and develop marketing staff to strengthen campaign delivery, creativity, and accountability.
- Foster a supportive team culture where collaboration and innovation thrive, stepping in personally to handle day-to-day tasks as needed.
- Leverage new tools, best practices, and technologies to enhance marketing processes, workflows, and performance measurement.
